2-stage filter inadequate. Flow is a little slow.
This was a damaged item when I received it. The cold water did not work and thus, I'm sending it back and I'm looking at a different model. These are my thoughts about the A13. I have a 4-stage filter setup under my sink. This 2-stage filter, expectingly, does a worse job than the 4-stage and the replacement filters are gougingly high for what they are. A generic version of the sediment filter is about $5 and a generic version of their carbon block is about $15. If this cooler worked and I kept it, I would probably have retrofitted my own filter system into it after the included ones were finished. Bottled water tastes better than this filtration system. I am from an area of the country where the tap water is in the top 5% of the USA, water source is not the issue as 95% of the USA has ... This was a damaged item when I received it. I would suspect someone who is accustomed to unfiltered tap water would be overjoyed at the filter. It removes all of the chlorine essence , but it leaves behind some metallic ions and cations, which I can taste. I can also see someone who is used to a more advanced filter system or someone who is used to bottled water, both finding the filtration lacking. However, the water flow is a bit slower than I would like - and now that I realize what I don't like about this system, I need to look for a cooler with no complaints about the speed of the water flow. Ideally, if someone made a cooler that was able to be retrofitted with an aftermarket filter system, that would be what I want - but I am unable to find anything like that. Keep in mind that a system like this is in lieu of lugging bottles of water or 5 gallon carboys from the stores periodically. Also keep in mind that this cooler is one amount many that uses the smaller water line that installs with pressure and needs no tools. While it is convenient for a non-plumber, a more robust solution would be a professional install (that would probably cost as much as the cooler).

When I first received my water cooler said it was just an open box was tested as new was missing the filters the front of the door compartment is not attached so I had to use tape to hold it together don’t know if a new one would’ve been better or not
