Great system for the price.
This sound bar replaces a 500 watt AM/FM receiver/amplifier with two bookshelf Bose speakers and provides much better sound while costing about 1/3 as much. The sound bar is connected to an LG TV via the digital optical cable and the TV is connected to a DirecTv DVR/Receiver. I can turn the sound bar on and off with the DirecTv remote by using one of the two AV positions on the remote and control the sound bar volume with the same remote in the normal DVR position. This is much more convenient than having to use a separate remote to control sound volume as I did with the amplifier Bose speaker set up. In addition the sound bar uses much less power when in use than the 500 watt amplifier while in use and if I forget to turn it off it uses a small fraction of the power that the amplifier ... I did a lot of research on these type of systems and concluded this was the best one for the money. I am very satisfied. It was easy to set up and delivers good quality sound.

Bad sound
The soundbar was very cheap, it was at a good value. The only problem is that the sound is very distorted and it doesn’t connect to my subwoofer.
