I enjoy RSTs. One of my favorite games from the past was Panzer General and then Allied General both by SSR. I've only played the tutorial and the first couple of missions but I've enjoyed what I've done. The order system took some practice to learn, but it wasn't daunting. My 16 year-old son thinks it's too slow. I think RSTs are simply an acquired taste.
