A memorable Hulk run by a stellar writer/artist team!!!!
The Peter David/Dale Keown run was one the highest points of the Incredible Hulk ongoing comic and it is beautifully and gloriously represented here in the Visionaries series. I remember collecting the original run back in the early 1990s. Dale Keown's art was what made me stop pining away for Todd McFarlane on the Hulk. Keown's striking layouts and mindblowing, dynamic art really elevated Peter David's stories, combining elements of John Byrne, Berni Wrightson, and a little dash of Neal Adams to forge out a style uniquely his own. Keown was definitely born to draw the Hulk, and his passion for the character was evident in every cover and page he drew. Yeah, there are fill-in issues done by lesser artists, but that's to be expected in any ongoing comic. I just wish Marvel hadn't taken ...
