I was skeptical that after so many years that this product wouldn’t work due to erosion in the batteries. The owner wasn’t able to tell me if it was clear or not that it would work (however you could have easily pressed the button through the package to tell that it did in fact work) so it was a shot in the dark. Luckily after YEARS of erosion it somehow DID work. Happy with my product, but the owner could have clarified it had been tested. #lucked out. Also EBAY, new doesn’t always mean new!
