    Great CD

    My husband and I have been listening to this CD for many years when we go to bed each night. I wanted to buy a second one just in case this one wears out. I don't think I could sleep without listening to this CD. It is one we never get tired of.

    Down memory lane with Bread

    Enjoyed listening to this cd as one of my favorite albums many years ago was Bread. The only problem is the sound quality and they do mention on the back that it may not be the best. All in all it is still a good value if you loved the songs.

    Not afraid to admit, it's a great disc!

    I'm really getting tired of people saying how "soft" Bread was. Who cares! If you can appreciate music, in general, you have to realize the talent these guys had. I'm a professional musician and can easily see the talent possessed by this band. Good vocals, harmonies, and song writing. Let's face it, we're not in middle school anymore. We don't have to try to be cool. If you don't like their "easy listening" style, fine, I have no problem with that. Don't bash them for their talent though because you'll just come across as being musically ignorant. They remind me of the Beatles, in a way. Gates handled the softer stuff while Griffin did the stuff that had a bit of an edge. Like McCartney and Lennon. Yes, I think the Beatles were a ...

    Bread-- Not by the loaf.

    I love this music because it brings back the better days of music. The days when music made your soul stir with emotions, whether it was saddness,love,anger or just made you happy to be alive. Most of the music these days lack poetry, meaning and there's no message. The music of David Gates and Bread made you feel like you were the one, or wanted to be the one in the song they were singing about. One of the best songs they put out is Guitar Man, wow! it almost made me want to go out and buy a guitar, but then again, it made me feel that if I did, my life would be lonley. David Gates and John Denver-- Two of the worlds best song writers.

    Simple, romantic songs highlight this compilation of Bread songs

    Simple romantic songs highlight this compilation of Bread songs. David Gates' voice is perfect and the production around each classic song is superb. My wife is eleven years younger and had never even heard of Bread before since she was raised in Colombia. I bought this for her and she knows several songs by heart and sings them with her gorgeous Spanish accent. A purchase worthwhile to anyone who loves romantic songs with strong hooks.
