Makes a hot tub safer.
In the past we had two GFI's trip with no apparent fault to ground. This one has not tripped yet. Of course, we want it to trip if a ground fault develops, but tripping without a fault might cause the hot tub to freeze since the hot tub is unsupervised for extended periods.

Off to on and on to off - this product switches the current as per the manufacturer’s specifications: mechanically wonderful with electrifying results. Once the current is flowing, give that little yellow button a press and the 'fake short' senses the possible over current situation promptly causing an automatic breaker trip instead of the manual one per the initial words of this comment. And WOW as expected, the on to off is now automatic!?! To me this is electrifying - well - not electrifying to be exact. The color is as expected – the texture smooth and satisfying - the tight fit was pleasing – and overall a delightful experience. Shipping was prompt. Good overall experience. I’ll be back.
