Not the smoothest locking operation but they definitely work well and look nice. Can feel moderate grinding in the gears and there's a little play when fine tuning. No matter what, verdict: Buy them. I have them on 2 guitars, they work great. Good quality, great price, clean appearance and guess what... They tune your guitar and lock very well. That's what you're looking for right?

These seem to be very well made, the Locking pin could use a tiny bit of sanding on the tip but other then that so far they seem to work just as they should with no play in the mechanism, Quality seems very good with the 2 sets I ordered

Best locking tuners for the price. One of them is pretty hard to turn and all of them are a bit stiff but they do the job. I'd definitely recommend real fender locking tuners over these if you have the money.

With this style of tuners your guitar will stay in tune longer because the strings don't have a lot of turns on the post, the old way. Now it has less than one full turn, so there is less string to stretch. If you have tuning problems, try locking tuners, they really help. I'm sold on them. Both my guitars have them. Thanks micor-84
