    Pretty arm with major deisgn flaws that limit usefulness

    Attractive design with weak key components. The middle joint plastic tightening hub broke on initial installation, with the bolt separating from the plastic handle. I replaced with a 12-24 2 inch allen head black bolt, which can marginally provide enough tightness to fix the arm at the correct angle. The design is flawd, and should incorporate metal bolts and nuts with large fender washers to enable solid tightness without stressing plastic parts, with caps to cover for appearance. Skimping on the hardware means that it's very difficult to keep the arm at usable angles with Blue Nano microphone and the strong internal tensioners. Too bad because the Compass looks great...if it only worked as intended it would merit 5 stars and solid recommendation.
