The Mic is The STD in live vocal reproduction. The Mic stand is not up to the task it seems that it was designed for. It will not keep the Mic up - a limp mic stand is worthless. You need Hercules to tighten it tight enough to hold the mic at a decent level. Or you can just have the stand hold the mic straight up with no angle at all. That works, but its not really practical if you have pedal boards in front of you like every player does.
