Good story, great start to series

The dvd arrived on time and in perfect condition. To me the movie itself is very engaging and keeps you wanting more, even when it ended it almost makes you want to watch it again. the actors portrayed their characters very well. it is very well written, in my opinion.

  • Engaging from the Start to the Finish. A Mini Allegory. Eminently Awesome!

Mild melodrama that will keep you involved from the very beginning to the end. A little cheesy in a few spots but overall a great perspective and thought provoking plot about what it might be like Behind the scenes of life as God is constantly working out the details covering All our choices... good, bad or ugly. ***** Great example of how good and evil are constantly at work in ways we never see and how having (the modern day)Jesus in the loop of our lives can keep us from suffering... at the hands of (DeVille), sin and it's consequences, or the worldly traps and temptation that await us all. ***** Also uniquely woven in is how God turns some peoples bad choices, and neglect of His voice, into good things, When we finally seek Him and His guidance in our lives. ***** Based firmly in a ...

  • A chance Encounter with Jesus. Bruce is Awesome as our Lord!

Had seen Bruce as Jesus in "Mathew". He instantly became my favorite actor portraying our Lord and Savior, as he is a Believer, The Encounter is an awesome take on a modern day 'encounter" with Jesus. Superb casting. (former Pro Wrestler) Sting shows his acting chops here. ALL cast members sincerely gave an awesome performance. All tech and support crews also contributed to one of my favorites and highly recommended films. High production value. A homerun for all involved. WATCH this movie .... but for an AWESOME preface, watch Bruce in Mathew FIRST. This film will mean even more to you if you do. Also watch The Encounter- Paradise Lost, The Encounter series. Don't miss Bruce making cameos as Jesus in other films like the Revelation Road films. I was Blessed by this film and I'm hoping you ...

  • What a Powerful Film!

My husband first saw this movie on TV late one night after I had gone to bed. At first he wanted to wake me up, but he decided to DVR it to watch again with me later. AM I EVER GLAD HE DID!!! *Woweee* - this film is packed with masterful performances by all; it is reality-based as it addresses some tough modern-life issues (along with an ancient one) - and answers them with the gentleness and clarity of the timeless Christ. It never once makes the viewer think that life in Christ will be - or even should be - easy, but that, in growing through our hardships by staying focused on God, redemption and everlasting life are our rewards. We are passing our copy around to loved ones, and I am truly missing it! I will probably end up buying more to pass around, and one to keep for ourselves, ...

  • GREAT soul winning movie. Loved it and kept our attention.

This is a WONDERFUL movie. There is NO DOUBT about it being a Christian movie. I do believe that this would be a GREAT movie to pass around to your unsaved family and friends who are kind of "on the fence". It really shows how EVERYTHING can change in a minute. My husband who is still a "baby" Christian really enjoyed watching it and thought we should buy one for each family member's who are unsaved. Which is pretty amazing. It kept both of our attention. Bruce Marchiano did a GREAT job playing Jesus. Felt as if he was not going directly from a script but from his heart. The others felt a tad to scripted but will say Borden and Velasquez did do good for not being actors. If you get a chance --see this-- keep it on the shelf -you never know when you might have a chance to show to ...
