I really like how the Fitbit Luxe keeps track of my SPO2 (Pulse oxygen) levels. It also sends me reminders to eat which is a problem for people who have had weight loss surgeries like Gastric Bypass and Gastric banding. The pedometer is a little questionable though because it will say that you've taken more steps than you have. It actually measures your hand movements instead of your feet. It came with the black silicone bands (in white package) and I brought the purple band and screen protector (after all, I have to protect my investment!) I won't likely ever use the silicone bands as I prefer more natural feeling materials against my skin which is ironic because the of my Fitbit Luxe is anything but natural. Would I buy it again? Yes! Because it does what I need it to do,

I already had the Fitbit App loaded on my phone and PC. When I connected the Luxe, the App moved me seamlessly through the setup. The Luxe has a lot more features than my Alta including heartrate monitoring, sleep monitoring that includes monitoring REM sleep and deep sleep. The display is relatively small but large enough to be easy to read.

I had a fitbit flex2 that I liked. I just got it in my head to get the luxe and I don't regret it! I love it. I am surprised at the detail of my sleep analysis as the luxe gives much more information than the flex2. I am sure I would get even more information on the premium plan, but I am ok with the basic. After figuring out how to unlock the bands, I enjoy the bling band. I am still figuring out the menu. The battery lasts longer than the flex2. I love the smaller size, although it is bigger than the flex2. I don't wear it in the shower, but I did shower with the flex 2 because I had it in a pendant. I wish the luxe had a pendant, although I thought about creating one. I am pretty sure the features won't work on a pendant as the readings come from the wrist. Basically, I feel the Luxe upgraded me from my flex2.Read full review

I bought this device mainly for the sleep tracker and heart rate sensor. I didn't know much about Fitbit other than they track steps. So when I bought this and received it, I was quite surprised with everything this little device can do. It came in a sealed box, with a charging cord, an extra band piece, the fitbit device, and instructions. It also included a free 6-month premium membership, which is totally awesome! This device tracks steps, heart rate, calories, exercise, menstrual cycles, water, and weight. You can set it to send you reminders to be active, which I do enjoy. There are challegenges that you can do with friends and family. There is a whole Fitbit community. It's a very nice device. So far, I have zero complaints about this particular device. It does everything it is supposed to do and I am in love with it. I believe everyone should have one of these. Read full review

I only wanted this fitbit to use as a watch where I can tell time and track my steps every day. I also wanted to know how many hours I sleep every night and information about my heart rate. Later, I may decide to engage with it more, but right now, I am only doing these things. Sometimes I wonder how accurate it is, but I had a less expensive one for a few years which I questioned and I question this one too, especially when it comes to how much sleep I get. Let's say I went to sleep, woke up in the meddle of the night and couldn't get back to sleep for two hours. If I am just lying there quietly, does the fitbit think I am sleeping and give me credit for those two hours of sleep? In any event, I like having the fitbit on my wrist. It is comfortable and light and there isn't a need to keep switching it with the many watches I own. Read full review
