Sutiable for field operation with an end-fed antenna.
Actually 4.5 stars I tested this with my nanoVNA with a 500 ohm and a 4,000 ohm resistive load. With the 4,000 ohm load it was flat across the 3 - 30 MHz spectrum with SWR at ~5. With the 500 ohm load there was a SWR at 2.5 at both ends and a shallow dip to 2.0 from 10 - 25 MHz. So with a antenna tuning unit, it will easily tame an end-fed antenna. The only criticism is that the small hole at the antenna end is too small and fragile for direct mounting to a support. Use a springy cord.
