Its an improvement on the Bach 3C!
The outer and inner diameter, cup size, and throat are identical to the Bach 3C. But the rim is slightly rounder and has a little less bite on the inner chamfer. The backbore may be different, not sure about that. But it allows me play longer with less fatigue and with improved upper register. And the sound is very similar to a Bach 3c; full rich, and round. Great Tone and Comfort
Bought this for my son (14yo) and he loves it. It was recommended by his trumpet teacher. My son said it is more comfortable (he has braces) and it is much easier for him to get the tones and sound he is looking for when he plays.

Comfortable and Rich
I have to say that this mouthpiece has given me comfort, richness, and flexibility like I've never seen in the upper register. I've been using a Schilke 6A4A for years now and have always found it rather restricting and sometimes thin within the upper register, but this Bobby Shew Lead has solved these issues!
