Ms. Franks newest book is the story of Elizabeth "Betts" McGee who works in a Manhattan real estate firm. The company offers her a job to oversee construction on Bulls Island, South Carolina. Betts has a problem with this idea. It will be on a much loved wildlife preserve in her hometown and on top of that, her partner on the job is none other than her lost love, J.D. Langley. Betts and J.D. broke their engagement over a feud between their families years ago. As always, Frank is a great storyteller. J.D. would like to begin again with Betts but she has a secret that he may not want to forgive her for keeping. Great Low Country Writer....
I love all the books from Dorthea Benton Frank, I hurry to get them as soon as they come out! All but one of my books, I have had her sign at book signings in Charleston. I became interested in her books, when we began to vacation there several years ago. She has referred us to several locale restaurants that are her favorites and now we share them too. Her books are stories that you can really relate too and all the books will make you laugh, cry & giggle some more! I love each one very much.... Dorothea Benton Frank is a wonderful Author! What can I say, I moved to the south about 20 years ago and she makes me feel proud to live here. This book is just as wonderful as the others. I love it!
