Surprised I could find anything from Kimber for around $20. These are Rubber Black Double Diamond, Diamond Check Grips. Functional and they dress up my 1911. Thanks.

Much better control
These are great grips. Kimber changed from these to the G-10 grips what are extremely aggressively textured. I believe they did this because the G-10 grips are 'fashionable'. The only reason I can find for the G-10 material is if you need to decontaminate your firearm in a nuclear environment. In that case I have bigger problems. These are identical to what came on some of the previous 1911's from Kimber. They are a rubber like material and the texturing is very good for positive control without feeling like your are holding on to a sander designed to remove skin from your palms. Dimension wise they are mil-spec so they should fit any full frame 1911.These are great grips. Kimber changed from these to the G-10 grips what are extremely aggressively textured.
