This bulb never reached the color advertised it would reach. No markings on packaging as to color temp of bulb. No markings found on the bulb upon installation. Had bulb shatter upon removal for inspection of markings per seller. Seller did not provide any further assistance beyond that. Even though I broke the bulb I still do not believe that the correct bulb was sent. Seller went dark through messages and has blocked me from their store. Big F for this seller.

Great build, needs modifying to be optimal
I've needed to modify the stages provided to allow for enough suction. The build is perfect for customization. I'm using for a 75gal tank with a RES and a large school of giant danios. The canister is perfect for customizing and adding the stages you want to use for your water treatment. It needs some sponge modifications off the bat, at least in my experience. I was losing water in the canister; it'd push more water than it took in. It does move plenty of water for it's price and size, but for it's price, you should expect a little handiwork to optimize it. The size of the canister, although simple, is great for adding what you need. It could use some better, thicker/stronger build materials, but is perfectly fine if you're delicate in the fastening process.I've needed to modify the stages provided to allow for enough suction. First you will want to replace the hoses that come with this unit. The intake pipe will collapse in on itself, causing the unit to stop sucking, The fittings seem cheap as well. Be very gential with the shut off valves, they are made of cheap cheap plastic and can crack or break off very easily. I am still working on getting mine up and running smoothly. So good, I bought two!
I bought my 1st CFS 1200 about 5 years ago for an indoor pond and it has worked flawlessly. I only had to replace the impeller about a month ago. I recently acquired five red eared sliders and two 30 inch koi as an addition to my indoor pond. I decided to purchase my 2nd CFS 1200 to help with the added waste produced by the new animals. I would definitely recommend all of the CFS Odyssey line as I run two CFS 1000s in series to keep my 300 gallon cichlid tank in pristine order. One big filter!
This is a nice filter with 5 stage filtration that has a similar design to an FX5. It was pretty simle to set up and ha my 150 gallon crystal clear. If you are running a large tank, this may be the most economical choice for you. Also has a built in UV sterilizer to further keep your tank water pristine

This is a very good canister filter. It has my aquarium crystal clear. I love the, multiple stages it has. I can put different filtration in it. Oh, and don't forget, it moves a lot of water! I will buy another one. Highly recommend!!!
