apart from a delay in shipping owing to the fact that the post office made a mistake and sent it to the wrong address which was rectified everything went well this is a great series if you like Japanese anime and great science fiction or a just plain good story i highly recommend that you check it out plus check out parts one and three you'll be glad you did

This is the best example of 70's Anime at it's best!!This series created a fan following in the late 70's and early 80's equal to Star Trek and Star Wars.Even today this series holds it's ground as the best that Anime can offer. For newer Anime fans I would highly recomend this series because it was the first of it's kind.It made the way for Anime as it is known today.The artwork does show it's time a bit....but not by much! In it's time this series had the absolute best"attention for detail" artwork that had been seen to that date. This second season of the series(three in total)is considered the best by most of it's fans......and after seeing it again after all of those years again, I hold the same opinion. Star Blazers Series 2:The Comet Empire (DVD)
Being a SciFi fan I have liked the series since it was aired on TV in the Boston,Mass. Area. I have had it on video tape which has gotten old and unusable. This allows me to have something to watch when the cable has nothing worth watching. I have had time to watch the series of DVDs and find them to be excellent and enjoyable. Also the set-up of the DVDs lets them play all the episodes on a Disc without having to start each episode separatly. This show was and is the first and best of the animea shows from Japan in many years. Great folow-up series to the original classic
Recalls to my youth and watching this series on television. I t was far beyond its time when broadcast and is sdtill able to hold its own against manmy more modern anime titles which share much of the same storylines.
