    A necessity!

    I have the 80# pistol crossbow already, but at some point the bow string will need replaced due to wear.

    DISAPPOINTING

    I used this product with a pistol limb prod of 80Lbs and after about ten shots it started to fray at the center and the tips.. consequently it snapped off the limb.

    On a scale of 1 - 10 I give it -1

    The product was very poor quality, after using it , the serving on both ends of the string started to unwind. The price is great, but remember, you get what you pay for.

    Good design, if properly assembled

    I've seen the negative reviews, but in every such case it seems the problem is with the user. For the price, it's a damn good product. Users need to understand basic crossbow maintenance, it isn't toy. Lube the rail, wax the string, make sure everything is properly aligned and tightened. Understand how all the parts are supposed to work together. Be smart, be safe, have fun.
