This product only lasted a couple mows and broke when I ran over a rock. It shot out the side of the Multch Plug Assembly. There's a reason this is cheaper than the OEM. I wish I could find the original. I've ran over many rocks with it and lasted a few years with no issues. Cheap plastic.

Dear Eric: Sorry you had an issue with our product. Depending on the rock size yes, any shield can break - they are a plastic/rubber combination and that is why they are a replacement part. We sell many shields that customers are pleased with. You never reached out to us/we guarantee our products and have free returns. We would offer a new shield or a refund by the looks of your picture. You need to communicate with the seller though so we can fix the problem. I will refund today for you.

Part is as depicted. If your model requires the A P/N you will have to thread the hole with a 1/4 20 tap. This the same way MTD sells it.

On a scale of 1-10, this seller should be at least a 50. He shipped my purchase quick. The package got lost/delayed for some reason at some point in route.
