Well I have two Damascus blade swords from Hoisun the first one is nice and straight this one is warped it goes out left and comes back almost to center line. Now if this was a 2 grand sword or higher it would have gone back already. Really though the Damascus is decent so once quenched I’m sure the decision to finish was given. The finished product is good just got a bend in it. It helps keep it really tight in the scabbard. It’s a 185.00 sword you get what you get. Contacted seller- crickets
