This is a good quality voice recorder for the asking price, approx. $40 in my case. It is easy to use, compared to others l have used, such as a similarly priced Phillips. It is more intuitive to operate in general.

This is the third VN-7200 voice recorder I have owned. The first one lasted several years without a glitch. When it finally gave up I didn’t hesitate to buy another one. The second one lasted a couple months with minimal use before the stop button quit working. I rely heavy on my voice recorder so I hurried and bought another. I used it for about two weeks and the stop button has failed on it.

If you need to transfer recordings to your computer, this is not the one for you. But if you want a good little recorder that's simple to use, has all the basics you would want, I can recommend this one. I bought it for a friend who needs to document things and she is totally happy with it. It is louder volume playback and better in my opinion with everything (other than USB transfer) than the one I have which is a more advanced model.

I like it very much works great. Long hours recording time very easy to use. In c mode continues to record none stop so you don't have to worry about it cutting your recording short. Small and compact. Love it great.

I purchase several of these each year for my employees. In my opinion this little recorder is the best one available at a decent price. Make sure you get this exact model number. Olympus makes a VERY similar looking model that we always had trouble with and ultimately returned to retailer.
