Not as thick as images made it appear, but still comfortable.
As the title indicates, this is not as thick as photos and videos of this make it appear to be. I am not saying it is too thin, but it is not as thick as led to believe it was. This is a nice cushion but not as good as if it were as thick as the images make it appear to be. I believe if it were thicker, it would be even more comfortable. Thickest part which is around the edges is only 1 and 7/16 inches thick on left and right sides and the back edge, but much thinner in front and middle where it is about 1 and 1/8 inch thick. I still like it but only wish it were thicker. Saw videos of this when it was first developed but before it was marketed. It may be manufacturers scaled down the thickness to reduce manufacturing costs. I suspect the ones used with a egg is a thicker model ... The cover is nice, because unlike other Cushions I have, this one stays where I place in in my chair which is covered with a blanket to protect my cushion from cats. The other cushions kept moving around, but this cover keeps it where I place it without shifting around. Even so glad I bought this one.

The product was not what I expected. I was looking for a cushion seat that is one level, one thickness throughout. The one I ordered was contoured and shaped with one thickness on the edges and less thick in the middle and toward the front. I was not pleased with the edging, as well. My mistake. I did not fully research this product. This product may serve well for certain people, but not for me. Nice product. Just not what I was looking for.The product was not what I expected. This is advertised on TV with much hype, but in reality it is way too small and way too thin. It does not fit even a small seat size-wise, and, while it feels good at first, it soon compresses too thin where it its egg-shell cushioning is not noticeable. I was hoping for more and if it had lived up to expectations, I would have bought several. Instead, I returned it.
