I got them for both the Glock 42 and 42. They are easy to install yourself and you just unscrew the front one, and drive the rear one out with a punch and reverse the process to install. I have had night sights on Glocks since 1990. I found a receipt where I had them installed the other day from 1990 and the price is about the same as I paid on Ebay, 27 years later. That means a drastic reduction.. These seem equal to the other brand I bought years ago and the brightness is just fine in low light. Highly recommend, them and they are far cheaper than local gun shops.

The sights work as designed, I like them. The problem is with the set screw quality. The internal hex on the set screw is too large for the hex key(wrench). It barely catches on the corner of the key, it should contact the flats of the hex key(wrench). If you use a Loctite product, you'll pay hell removing that set screw. Yes, I tried the fit with several hex key's. It's not the key. I followed the directions, used a pusher fixture for the rear sight and little bit of Loctite 222MS for both sights.

The 3 dot sighting system suits my eye better than the Glock dot and horseshoe that comes standard. The tritium glow is more than enough for low/no light situations. The two parts are relatively easy to install on the slide, and there is no snagging of sights on either of the two holsters I use. I thought they were a good value, look good and function well.

I know most people think the "mouse guns" dont really need a good sight system because most encounters are close reange, instinctive shooting. I disagree. A grood sight picture on the range helps give you that muscle memory to hit when it counts. This Tru Glow sight on my GLock 42 has improved my shootiing immensely. Super Bright Tritium really lights up the sight in both daytime and low light situations. Well made and priced to make it a great add on to your Glock. Highly recomended.

Many aftermarket Glock sight sets require that a steel rear sight be press fit into the "unique" Glock rear dovetail. This does not allow for easy windage adjustment. TruGlo is one of the few that includes a set screw in the middle of the rear sight channel. Thus the sight can be adjusted and marked at the range and taken home for the set screw to be fixed with LocTite after everything is cleaned and de-greased. Another feature of the TruGlo is the nearly square, Bomar-like occular face of the rear sight. For old-timers accustomed to the Bomar profile, this is much better than the pyramid style occular faces popular today. It's all good.
