    Good stone to start edge, go lite

    Great stone to start the edge, but drag or pull it lightly across blade and let the diamonds do the work. If you press hard while sharpening, you will lose some diamonds from stone.

    Sharp!

    Just have always loved this sharpening system. Makes for a perfectly sharpened knife. Although I do wish that Lansky would resolve the problem with the diamonds falling off the stone (extra course stone). Seems mu extra course ones only last a couple of years.

    First couple of swipes of my knife most of the Diamonds fell out onto my leg,like they wasent glued in right,and the other Lansky done the same,im don

    Never again will I buy any Lansky Products.,first couple of swipes of my knife and the Diamonds fell out of it onto my leg.I also bought a smaller Lansky Diamond Sharpener and it was just as bad.I had to use a 2.00 bench stone that worked better.
