I used an ocean pole for catfish, and somehow, got a monster on the line that defied logic. It just kept coming out of the water. When the end of the pole snapped, I used bare hands to pull the 80 lb test up a 100 foot drop from a bridge. When I laid it on the concrete catwalk with the pole, to take a picture and brag, it kicked and snapped the second line guide off. I looked at the pole and at the fish in disbelief, and decided to eat it. I thought the pole was history, but the largest worked.

Great Rod for a cheap price.
I purchased a really nice rod from a Pawn Shop for just $6.00 but the rod tip was missing. I then purchased an Eagle Claw Fishing Rod Tip Repair Kit, followed the printed instructions on the package, and easily replaced the Rod Tip. I now have a great Rod that looks like new and can hardly wait to try it out .
