Don't expect 3 W output. Amp runs a bunch of bias current - gets really hot even at just +10 dBm out at 10 volts.DC supply. . It does have about 20 dB of gain. Seems like 3 W out is not nominal. Maybe 3 W of input power "including the idle current" It draws about 350ma with 10 v supply and -20dBm input for about + 11 dBm output.
