Best value anywhere. A couple simple mods and you've got a bass that sounds like ones costing 5-10 time more. _
Firstfirst of all the fitting finish of the base are excellent there are a couple of items that need mine miter modifications first one is in the tone controls if you remove this. Capacitors in replace them with some nice ceramics or possibly piles it makes a world of difference second is the strings that it comes with obviously for cost reasons they're not the best however buy your favorite set of strings and put them on here and you're good to go. The overall resonance of the instrument with the Basswood body are great!
