To be sure this is a nice watch for anyone wanting a durable and smart looking traditional Seiko 5 with updated movement. It looks great on the wrist and works terrific but for me it all stops there. My intention for this watch was to add a different band something along the lines of a NATO or multi-colored divers band. Seiko in their wisdom extended the lug width. What you see is deceiving. When viewing the watch it appears to have a standard watch band width but NO what looks like watch band is really a very fat lug so adding anything other than a custom watch band is nearly impossible. For me this is where Seiko failed but if your not looking to change the original band it's just fine and well worth the price.

I have had Seiko watches since 1965 and this latest one didn’t disappoint me. Quality, style and great price.

Looks as good as a Rolex and is a comfortable size and weight. I own 20 watches some high end. Most are quartz movement but I hate taking 5 or 6 watches at a time for new batteries. Automatic movement is the way to go.
