This timer is easy to use and does what I need. I like the big numbers, and the ability to set it for long periods of time. It is easy to stop and start and clear. It can sit on a counter or has a magnet on the back too. Very nice timer.

The ring on this timer is too quiet. My old timer had a switch to set the ring to high or low. Also, the Start and Stop buttons are too small. Also, when you hit Stop, it automatically zeroes out--which is annoying if you have something you time that always has the same time; e.g., 3 min. for tea steeping. I was trying to replace a beloved old Radio Shack timer. I like the keypad, with actual numbers, rather than "minute" and "hour" buttons. If you are at all hard of hearing, you won't be able to hear this timer.

I wanted a timer on which i could input the time desired, not just hold down one button. Aed annd this fills the bill. It csn be a bit hard to read unless it is angled properly on my shelf. I can set it for up to 99 hours, not just minutes and seconds.
