solid, sturdy, and sharp
great handling knife, and not just for it's size which is substantial. it's just a great handler. finish is perfect and edge is really keen. if I had to nit pick something it would be the sheath is not fitted perfectly. it was really hard to get it out to start with but it is loosening up the more I use it so maybe it was just new stiffness in the leather. This knife is made "old modern", for use of it's absolute full potential. The full tang beast feels great in the hand, the sheath is well made, the blade stays put while going into it and there's no sliding around. If I was to hold the sheath upside down while the knife's in it, it would take a few seconds for it to come out or if I physically removed it. I would buy it again. It looks awesome too. Even if you’re not a knife guy, you should own this Bowie. It’s MASSIVE, but very well balanced. Mine came fairly sharp out of the box. The blade is thick and essentially full tang (the tang is thinner in the spine). Very nice knife and sheath for the money, I’m very pleased with the purchase.

Blade is of good quality and is a good buy. I must admit that I expected that Cold Steel would have sharpened the "false edge," to complete the blade as a true fighting knife. But maybe that's just me...
