Long wand is easy to use and the battery power lasted with more which was not needed. Why would anyone have anything else is beyond me. Now, after all these years of pumping and pumping only to repump in a few minutes with a sore arm...I am truly happy. PLUS NO MORE HUNCHING OVER with those short wands! This is honestly the best! Wheels scooting over our half acre property is fun! :-)
