My Honda HRR216PKA is the ultimate in small push mowers. My house sits on 3 1/2 acres and since I'm retired I chose to plant a lawn on 1 acre of very sandy soil. I enjoy using a push mower to get some exercise but I don't like the idea of going back over previously cut areas. My Honda dual blade system provides an even precise cut every time. So far, I am very satisfied with my mower.

I have mowed 6 times with this mower and am very satisfied with it. It does a good job of mulching the grass and a great job mulching up leaves. I have used the grasscatcher to clean up leaves and it works very well but the mower does such a good job of mulching the leaves I only use the grasscatcher to clean up along the sidewalk and driveway. The 2 blade system seems to be much better at mulching then other mowers with single blades. I guess the only thing I don't like about this mower is the oil fill tube needs to be longer so when changing the oil it does not pour out on the mower deck. I have ordered an oil extractor pump so the next time I won't have to deal with the mess from having to tip the mower on it's side to drain the oil. I would recommend this mower to anyone who wants a good muching mower with a grasscatcher system.Read full review

Upgraded from a Fisker push reel mower which was nice and quiet and worked great but for tall grass. I needed a mower that could handle pasture grass which I leave at 3". This Honda works like a dream, relatively easy to push and the ability to change from bag to mulching instantly is great. The twin blades do a great job cutting grass of all lengths.

I have small yard with radius boarders at the edge of a radius planter box. This mower turns within my boarders cutting all the grass at the edge of the of the planter box. 21" mowers with large rear wheels will not make the turn.

Unless its a HRR216HXA hydrostatic transmission, on Honda's commercial mowers... Honda transmissions are notorious for failing (on non-commerical mowers)-leaving you with a push mower. The engines are great but the transmissions are crap. Don't take my word for it do a search for my honda mower's transmission failed. So in the end your buying the best mower if you buy this transmission-less mower.
