    Good motor

    This 2 hp motor replaced a 1 ½ hp motor on an air compressor. Motor was same frame and fit exactly. Motor started and ran well. Only downside is the overload protector. It only ran one time and would not restart without holding the reset button in. Motor never even became warm. Bypassed the overload protection and am running without it.

    Very poor workmanship, I am lucky that I wasn't electrocuted.

    It would be a lot better if the buyer wouldn't have to fix the wires because the insulation was cut on 3 of the conductors right as they come out of the motor.
