Blemished but perfectly useful
As a blemished item, one of the numbers on the scale is missing, however all the graduations are perfect. The condition is perfect, and it does the job just fine. Am using it in a old Starrett combination square body. The original Starrett scale was corroded and pitted too much to use.

Good Investment to Protect Your Other Tools
Tools are meant to be used and in a rugged working environment they can get damaged. When you need a blade for your combination square that could potentially get damaged, using a "blem" is ideal. If you ruin it, who cares! You're not out a lot of money, but it's still good enough to rely on for accuracy. Don't waste your money on cheap quality junk, that might not even be accurate. Get a good quality tool, with minor cosmetic flaws.
