Poor Performance, top notes disappear instantly.
I'm hoping that perhaps as time goes on, this may strengthen a little. It does have the great almond base note that most of the Guerlain L'Homme Ideal line has. It has a SLIGHT bit of citrus on top of that, but when I say slight, it's almost non-existent. For me, it almost instantly goes from citrus to base notes and sillage is next to nothing (from my perception). I will say that on skin, every so often I do get a whiff of almond, this lasted for a few hours, but it was very faint. I have heard this one is similar to the cologne, but I have never had the cologne so I can't compare. The weakness of this is a massive turnoff especially for the price, and the other great performers in the Guerlain lines. Hopefully this will turn around in a few weeks.
