The battery lasts exactly 11 days. The tracker itself is cool, you can conceal it pretty easily. Its close to the size of a 9v battery, but a little bigger. The website to view tracking is neat and works great. However the monthly service charge is a bit too much IF tracking vehicles is your primary mission. For example. I found another product that charges $70 a year. But this certainly has its perks having a battery and being able to move it around and put it anywhere it will fit to track things.

This product looks and sounds great. It is not very funcional at all. It will not recive a signal inside of a car unleas the door is open. I purchased this item to use on my own vehicle as a way to retrieve my car if it's ever stolen after an ex threatened to steal my car and burn it as well as hurt me. I've activate the device and it works great. The device itself is small and can easily be stored and hidden in various locations in your vehicle or purchase a magnetic case and attach it to the exterior of your car. I initially purchased and used the device with the magnetic case, but now I store the device in my glove compartment. I don't have issues with the signal by keeping it there. After activating the device you create an account through the SpyTec website. The program work similar to Apples FindMyPhone, but with more features. You can get the real time location of the device or historical data, you just enter the range of dates you want to see. I've given my family my account information so they know where I am at all times just in case my ex does good on his word and I go missing. I was worried that for the price...I was not getting much. This is an AWESOME product. I have been using it for 3 weeks now to track my grandfather to monitor his alcohol purchases. It works GREAT. The app for using the smart phone needs work. But...on the computer...AWESOME. Very user friendly. I am even looking into buying a couple for use at my police department. This product is a LOT more cost effective than what we have had in the past. More options in tracking as well. The Spytec brand magnetic case...AWESOME as well. You could put it on a baja truck and not worry about loosing it. VERY HAPPY with both purchases.

The model is STI GL 200,first impression small size, well build and perfect for its purpose, the only disappointment is that in order to used, you have to subscribe on monthly payment and the cheaper one is like $25.00,so basically you get good price on the unit, then slap with high monthly fees. I was thinking they maybe reasonable way of using the tracker, like prepaid "pay as you go" cell. service and option to download app. in google store, so can operate independently without extorted fees!
