You can't go wrong checking this thing out. For the price(used) & size, it's worth seeing if it suits you & your rig. It's still new for me, but I instantly liked what it does. I play several different acoustics, most have Fishman under-saddle piezos. My first gig with the Body Rez was a small house party, just myself and a cajon player. I played a Gibson J185 and a Cordoba nylon-string with a few other pedals into an old blackface Fender Champ. No kidding, it made a very decent acoustic sound through a little tube guitar amp. I'll clarify that I preferred the Cordoba without the BR engaged, but it was great on steel-string. My second gig was with a small show combo group, bass, drums, keys, fiddle and myself on the J185 and a Nashville Power Tele with a piezo rig. I played electric and acoustic parts through a Tech21 Fly Rig, the Body Rez and some other pedals into a Fishman Loudbox Performer acoustic amp. Again, great acoustic sound that fits in the mix on both mentioned guitars. REALLY helped the fake piezo-acoustic tone of the Power Tele. It even sounds cool on some straight electric parts. I've used Boss Acoustic Simulators and Fishman Auras, but I think this thing is better sounding; it's more universal, versatile and simple. Auras are great, but they almost need to match the guitar you're using to some degree to avoid sounding processed. The Body Rez does none of that, it sounds cool on any piezo guitar. I would bet it really helps a sound-hole pickup, but I haven't tried that. The BR generally adds warmth, bass, crystalline top-end, and subtle compression. It scoops the eq. You might not want it before gain or disto pedals, because it lowers apparent overall volume, but it has to, in order to supply the expanded tone it makes and not ruin your headroom when you switch it in and out. You may also find it requires its own isolated power supply, daisy-chaining didn't always work without noise for me. I haven't even used the mute or phase-flip functions because I have that stuff elsewhere in my rigs, but they are nice features. This little thing is my new favorite pedal. Definitely try one out.Read full review

To be honest, I don't even know how this pedal does what it does- there's only one big knob titled "body". I just crank it up full and it makes the plunky piezo pickup sound(even my high end Takamine suffers from it) sound like a huge- bodied dreadnought. I've even used it for recording ( in tandem with a mic'd track) to give more low end to the sound. I'd highly recommend it- I only wish they'd come out with it when I was solo gigging in the late '90's-early 2000s. Back then all you could do was drench the sound in reverb and roll off the highs and mids! I'd highly recommend it to any guitarist playing a piezo, but if you're a gigging acoustic musician it should be compulsory!

I play several live outdoor gigs a week and I monitor my vocal and electric acoustic guitar through headphones. Without this pedal the sound of my several different electric acoustics was often peaky enough to be a detriment to my performance. I run this pedal at 11 o'clock and find that it smooths things out nicely so I am happier with my live guitar sound and so I can concentrate more on my vocals and dynamics and overall rendition instead of sometimes cringing about the guitar sound. I am using a Taylor ES-1 pickup system on my GS7 and also an Ovation Elite, the Taylor being a magnetic system and the Ovation being a high-quality peizo. It works well for these. When I use it with my other guitars one with a K&K Pure and the other with a Fishman Acoustic Matrix Natural 1, the pickups already have too much low end so I have to EQ to cut the lows and low mids in order to use this Body Rez which is boosting those frequencies which are already too prominent, but buy doing that I get the benefits of the compression of the Body Rez. I will keep using this pedal as it enhances my performance in a simple and easy way.Read full review

Like the simplicity of this pedal. Makes my taylor t5 guitar sound great. It comes with power cord which is nice since it's too small for a battery compartment.

Although the price is a little bit high but the quality of the effector is really good. It made a good quality of natural acoustic sound! Also I had try to made a AC power to make it portable. Love it very much! Nice~
