Its incredible how good these inexpensive guitars have gotten. This thing is very nice. Just tuned it up and all is good. I lowered the action since the neck was straight and fret job was excellent. Only thing is they are small frets but flawless otherwise. Cant go wrong on this one.

Exactly what I was looking for! Great quality, simplicity and appealing compact guitar with great sound, easy to set up and tuners stay in tune and match the smaller scale. Strings were high. Had to flatten out neck with truss rod adjustment and replaced strings with 11-49. Very pleased and would buy again without any hesitation.

  • Well-built, good-playing, great-sounding, 7/8th-size guitar, perfect for just about anyone!

This little Rogue is a really nice guitar. It's very well built - solid body & straight neck. It's simple, too - volume knob & a rockin' little humbucker. It's slightly smaller than normal, making it perfect for a kid or small-framed adult. It's even good for the full-sized player that travels/moves a lot & doesn't want too much guitar to have to pack around. This guitar is great for a beginner & for an accomplished player, too. I've also got the full-size RR100 guitar by Rogue, and they both play equally well. Both my RR50 and RR100 are the red/black color, and they're absolutely gorgeous. My advice to the beginner --- Buy a Rogue acoustic or electric guitar for a great price, start learning to play, and as you get better & better, THEN you can go buy a $2,000 Gibson, Fender, Martin ...

  • I love it. These are perfect if you want a smaller guitar.

It is easy to play and handle. I am modifying this one for a tele pickup configuration. I have another that I made into H-H. The quality is really good. One had rough fret ends that I filed and sanded smooth. Not a big deal. This one was perfect. Heavier stringsto compensate for the short scale and a setup makes them great. The setup was pretty good out of the box.

  • Nice for the price.

The finish on this guitar is flawless. The fret ends were fine, but I did go over the frets with steel wool, and lemon oiled the fretboard. I setup the guitar,(it was easier than I thought). The string guage I put on it is 11 thru 52, (with a wound G string). The guitar now sounds like something from the 1960's. The nut size is 1.6875'', the same as on my Taylor acoustic. I am very well pleased with this product, considering the price.
