I've never had a meat slicer and for the price, this one is perfect! I love prosciutto and this slicer works great! I get the same thin slices than what I get when I purchase prosciutto from Safeway. I first tried cheese once I received the slicer then I began with a whole 2 pound refrigerated prosciutto and have saved hundreds of dollars - right off the bat. Take your time and you'll get deli cuts that will make everyone happy.

After using this slicer for the third time, it began to smoke and the blade stopped rotating. I contacted the seller for a replacement but was haggled to pay for his shipping charge of $18.00. If you sell a defective product, replace it with no questions asked. I am very disappointed with this seller and will not do business with again. I expect a full refund so that I may purchase a decent meat slicer that works.

    Flimsy construction, back plate is not parallel with blade so it cuts uneven, suction cup feet don't hold it in place

    Slicer

    Perfect for slicing beef for jerky do to my arthritis it's hard to slice even pieces by hand with a sharp knife this slicer allows me to keep making jerky just a little more clean up after everything is done
