I inherited this lamp but it had a crack in the glass mushroom shaped dome. I was so excited to find it here on eBay. The price was very reasonable. I was concerned it might not be the original look, quality or fit on my Vintage Laurel lamp. It arrived quickly, beautifully and securely packaged. It fits perfectly and looks exactly like the original. Couldn’t be happier. Thank you!

It's okay ONLY because....I bought 2 white desk Laurel Lamps in 1970(Saarinen like base 12" tall w/o shade). I broke the original on one, decades ago; decided to buy 2 of these to have a matching set. They are not only 1)differ in color and finish of white, and 2) differ in the shape(more oval versus the peak at top of originals), but they are markedly llighter in weight(originals were a thicker blown glass and they were perfectly matched in shape. OKAY should not defer you from considering these-they look fine and match; represented on eBay as the exact product you'll receive. There is some irregularity in the hand-blown shape. It's not overly noticeable. Less critical eyes may not notice the nuances of weight and shape differences from the originals, but to me it's a bigger deal. As a side note: mine are originals from 1970($27 for one entire lamp!). I'm happy to enjoy these as a pair again and I accept the differences for now. The globe fits and works fine. It seems to be just a little different in shape from the original. Maybe this is done on purpose as a way to tell originals from repros. I was, however, hoping for a perfect match and replacement. Grateful to be able to purchase anything, saved my lamp.
