Great little lantern
This is exactly what I expected. We used to use these lamps in Calcutta when I was young - load shedding was a common occurrence and power would routinely go out, we would use these for everyday light. Not bright enough to do fine detailed work, but definitely bright enough to light a dark room and see your way about. Get the gallon jug of lamp oil instead of the quart bottle: you will use these more than you think! If you decide to hang it, make sure you have at least 18” of space from any combustible material on all sidesThis is exactly what I expected.
