Good, but kinda large and hefty for 12 volts, 4 amp hours
I have two of these PWRCORE 12 4.0Ah batteries: one for each of my Skil 12V inflators. The 4.0 is beautiful, well-designed, and sturdy. The USB charging port is nice touch. But goodness, this battery is large and a bit heavy. A Makita CXT 12V 4.0AH slider battery weighs about 15 ounces. The Skil manual doesn't state the weight but the battery feels about 20 percent heavier than the 15-ounce Makita. It also seems to be about 25 percent larger in volume. I suppose the extra weight and volume go into the Skil's extra cooling technology and USB charging. That's well and good. But I'd prefer a smaller, lighter 4.0AH battery on a 12V one-hand tool. Maybe soon we'll see lighter, third-party batteries. By the way, Amazon banned this review because my original submittal pointed to the ... Worked perfectly.
Worked beautifully. It powered my Skil a lot longer than the smaller battery that came with it. Now, when I use this one, the smaller one can totally charge.
