The fan works great! Its appearance is as advertised, and the motor is SUPER quiet - not silent, per se, but very quiet. Another thing I like about it is that there is practically no wobble, even at the highest setting.
I rated this item 4 stars for two reasons: 1) the remote control is unintuitive, so it takes some getting used to, and 2) the owner's manual was apparently made for an earlier model of this fan, so some of the instructions were incorrect or in the wrong order.

As all other user feedback, all you have is a exploded picture to go by. If you can follow that without directions, then this is a great deal as the parts used are not cheap junk.
