I've been doing exercise DVDs and videotapes and classes for a long time, and there may have been a time when I would've thought Classical Stretch was tame. HA! It is a wonderfully challenging yet doable workout that is intelligently designed and wonderfully delivered. Most of all, it feels safe and effective - no matter how strenuous it seems at the time, I feel stretched and energized afterward, and not sore. Miranda feels like a good friend and colleague, and as a nurse, I appreciate her expertise and knowledge of anatomy. A trained ballerina telling us how to have a body that functions well, looks and feels good, and is flexible and strong - what more can one want? My body is changing since I started. Have been using Miranda Esmonde White exercises using our TV public broadcasting channels. Finally decided to order the DVD set so I could use it anytime I wanted to. Always love Miranda's workouts, and Season 12 of Classical Stretch is good...but not great. I prefer Season 11. The locations are always amazing, and the variety of individual workouts is excellent. First time I ever had a problem with a DVD before, but the second one has a glitch. Of course, you never know until you're already halfway thru it. Messed with it a bit, and just gave up. The rest of the workouts on that DVD were fine. Really can't complain, because four DVDs are a great value. Shipping was spot on!

This is the third season I've purchased and each has its emphasis, but this one is gentler and has emphasis on keeping your energy levels, overall flexibility and pain relief. Combine the 23 minutes sessions for more strenuous workouts. It will surprise you how quickly your muscles and your mindset are strengthened.

I enjoy these workouts because they are calm and relaxing. Miranda Esmonde-White is a wonderful instructor, and the exercises energize and provide a workout that is sensible and challenging. The exercises are great for balance and toning. I also do more strenuous workouts with weights, such as 21 day Fix, Slim in 6, and Gilad's Bodies in Motion. I incorporate yoga and dancing type exercises to prevent boredom and to provide a range of activities to work the muscles in different ways. Classical Stretch is doable for people who have limitations on movement.
