On a side note: I purchased this book to supplement my Ball Blue Book on canning and my Bernadin's Home Canning.     Good information on how to help yourself heal...and by working with your Doctor. Your attitude will be a great part of your healing. I read this book long ago and recently rebought it to give to a friend going through surgery.

    This was a great read, and one that I have shared with others, this book has been around for a number of years, it shares a message of hope, and positive thinking, reading this book can help you see how you, yourself will look at things in life, and how your emotions can affect other areas of health. It is a message of hope, for those who have been conditioned by the idea that there is no hope but only fear when associated with illness. I would recommend that anyone who has been diagnosed with any serious illness and those who are around them, read this book. One of the things that stood out most for me with this book was the story of the boy who colored the butterfly, then surrounded it with black to the very edges of the paper, showing that while the boy was happy cheerful ...
