I have been using this book and others by the Wongs since I started teaching many years ago. This book has been written for new teachers, so that they don't have to learn the hard way. It was also written for the veteran teacher as a reminder when the classroom gets difficult. I purchased this one because it is the newest edition. It has new sections and a DVD, that the older versions didn't. This book is much better than others because it isn't theory only. It is an easy read, with practical tools to use every day.
I bought book because my professor recommended it for our first year of teaching. This book is easy to read; not like a real book you would read cover to cover. It has great ideas that I will use in my career.
