I do wish there was more clarification in the description regarding the condition - item was listed as “new-other” but did not detail what the “other” was. Ends up the item was open/damaged box vs factory seal but it SEEMS like all of the pieces are still there. Otherwise, I’m pleased with the purchase and honestly, can’t beat the price! WARNING: Seller is either incompetent or making fraudulent E-bay listings. I purchased this high-price item from seller 3 weeks ago. The first item received was significantly defective (hardware & software), not "new open box" as listing said. Seller told me to return item and they would ship a replacement. Replacement received was exact same item, same exact hardware screen defect and same OS locked to user defect. Intentional deception or not, I'm done with this seller and recommend you avoid.

    Stops the barking!

    I was skeptical when I bought this unit only because several other brands I'd bought didn't work. This unit really does the trick with our chihuahua mix, no more barking. The settings buttons are good because they allow for a variance in warnings to the dog. When she has it on (which is most of the day), it's on setting number 2 and that one does the trick. She is a chihuahua so the minute you take it off she barks at door knocks etc. we leave it on sometimes without being on because she associates the collar with the sound when wearing. The battery lasts about 10 days between charges with no issues. We're happy we bought unit becuasexher barking was so bad our quality of life was suffering! I recommend this product wholeheartedly if you a yapper.

    Would work if it were not sensitive the dog tags rattling.

    I like petrainer products but this one is a little disappointing. I don't put my dog outside without dog tags on in case it gets out. City tag, Rabies tag, ID tag rattle against the barking collar making it go off constantly. My dog just lays down and is scared to death to move. She won't even scratch or shake her head. Now with any petrainer collar on she is petrified.

    Definitely not for small dogs

    I would recommend this product for dogs large than 30lbs. I purchased it for a small dog about 15lbs and it absolutely does not fit. It is the size of a chihuahuas head. It looks strong and it looks like a good device though. I gave it to a friend who is using it on a larger dog and it works great he says.

    Great training device for Otis

    This works great for Otis, my dog, he barked continually but not anymore. Not inhumane or cruel to the dog. It does not administer shock it uses a vibration on the probes. I love it and Otis the barking corgi respects it.

    Works well, good price

    I like this one, rechargeable with a light to tell you when it's dead or charged. I've had other ones that you had to change the batteries and you don't know it's dead and they are the pricey watch type. I also like that this one gives a warning vibration, he has learned what that means and we don't hear him yelp from being shocked like the other ones. I don't really like the collar, it's just a piece of plastic with holes, which mean it doesn't loosen up, which is good, but you have to hope it's not one hole too tight or next hole too loose. All in all it's a good value though and we like it.
