    A Worthy DVD Release of a Disney Cult Classic

    "Oliver & Co", the Oliver Twist based Disney classic, finally gets the DVD release it deserves. This disc contains a digitally remastered transfer of the film which removes the dust and other such nastiness that plagued the first release. In addition, the film has been painstakingly touched up greatly enhance the quality of the film's appearance, impressively cleaning up the lines and colors. The movie looks like you're watching the first projection of the film in the theater. Unfortunately, this film was released before "The Little Mermaid", which is widely regarded as the movie that began Disney's renaissance period.
