It took longer to get it out of the packing material than it did to install on my truck.. I like it more that the first on that was on the truck for 20 years. So, if it lasts half as long...I will be pleased... Very easy to install as it uses the square holes under the hood..I remove the old plastic inserts and installed the new ones. The original hood delector had a middle mounting screw..this one does not...so we will see how it holds up..
